Hello all! Thanks for all of your emails and contact over the last few months. It's been very quiet here as we've taken a few months off to chill with our families. Will should be back on the road again soon and the new CDs are still available on the 'Merch' page for the bargain price of £5.99 inc P&P. Just to let you know that our old drummer Dave will be out on the road again soon with his new band Reign of Fury. Hello all. Well we've had a huge response about finding a new drummer so thank you to everyone who has e-mailled. We're gonna hopefully start jamming soon again and hope to be playing in a town near you towards the end of the year. Sorry it's been a while, but thought I'd give you an update with what's happening in the 4ft camp. The 3 of us are keeping ourselves busy with other things while we are looking for a drummer. Anyone who is interested in this please click the link above for details. Jon is currently having a jam with a couple of other bands and Rob has been writing some new stuff for you all to enjoy. Happy New Year! We're sorry to announce that Dave Humphries (drummer) has decided to leave us to do other things. We wish him all the best and in case you were wondering, he was the one with the funny hair!! Hi again. Real sorry about problems with the site, but we're back up and running again. Dave and Jon are off teching with The Damned over the next few weeks, but Rob and I are playing an acoustic set at Slak in Cheltenham on Wednesday 10th December with a load of other very cool bands so come along and check it out. Hello all! Well the tour is now over and Dave and Jon said that it went great. A massive thanks to everyone who came out to check out the band. We will be back playing shows with the usual line-up sometime early next year. We are experiencing some problems with the online shop at the moment so have had to take it down, but will be back up very soon. SOME IMPORTANT NEWS FROM 4ft FINGERS

HI All,

We wanted to let you know some important news in the 4ft camp at this point in time.

4ft Fingers have had to change the line up for the next set of dates, which is still happening in September. Rob and Dougie apologise to the venues and fans, but unfortunately this is life and people's lives can't always go in the same direction, commitments with families and making money to pay the bills has had to take the front seat for them. This was sadly decided in July.

Dave and Jon have decided not to rebook the tour but honour the shows till the end of the year and find temporary replacements by the name of Ben (Less Than Normal) and Kerry Warren.

Dougie is to become a Daddy (watch out world!) so a massive congratulations from us all! So he will not be doing any shows on the next tour. Nor will Rob who is heading back into education to do a HNC so he can have a day job he actually enjoys, he plans to keep doing music with a new band for fun but not commit to touring, instead one off shows and come back to 4ft Fingers next year for some shows. He's going to have a lot of work from September onwards and won't be able to commit the time needed to do all the dates. Unfortunately the dates were booked soon after the last tour ended so wasn't much time to have a breather and think about the future. 4ft Fingers will return some time soon. They ain't gonna thanks lots of people as

Rob & Dougie are just having a little time out to adjust to new things and try some other things that they couldn't do if they were touring. Priorities have had to change for now, which as you know takes hold when you grow up along with responsibilities. They will return again soon with the original line up So watch out!!!

Check out the shows, with Dave, Jon and Ben & Kerry to fill Rob & Dougie's shoes.. The shows will be as action packed as ever so go see and show

Hello all. Just finished our tour with a great final show in Weston-Super-Mare on Saturday. A massive thanks to Fizzy Milk who supported us over the last couple of shows. Just heard that the Gloucester Park show with The Beat has been cancelled which we are a bit gutted about. Again, a massive thanks to the thousands of people who came out to see us on tour. We are doing a few shows in August and should be back on the road again properly in October for 3 or 4 weeks. Dougie

We have just added 2 new dates. Playing in Poole in August, but the big news is that we are very pleased to announce that we're supporting Lagwagon in the Forum in London on 20th July. The Gloucester gig was awesome fun and a massive thankyou to all the staff at the Guild Hall who were brilliant as always and to all that made it down there. The bulk of the shows are over now, but still some great ones ahead including the Academy in the UK shows with The Damned, Buzzcocks and The Beat, Salisbury Arts Centre (always a real fun one) and not forgetting Cambridge on Friday. We have just had the highlight of our lives!! Just found out that Bruce Dickinson (lead singer of Iron Maiden) played 'Where Did All The Legends Go' on his BBC radio show last Friday!!! I can now die happy!! Also, just to remind you all that we are playing our hometown show on Saturday so don't forget to get your tickets.

Another great load of shows at the weekend in particular, thanks to everyone who came down to see us in Brighton. Rockin show. Just updated some shows as we have rescheduled the Lincoln and Staines shows and should have another date for the Southend show soon. And!!! Hello all! Just returned from an awesome tour in Ireland. Thanks to all the people who came and saw us at the Belfast and Limavady shows. And thanks to Belfast for an awesome St Paddy's day. And of course a big thanks to the garage attendant at the Total garage near Leamington Spa who tried to attack us with a baseball bat lastnight after we tried to pay for our fuel with Northern Ireland sterling!! On the other hand we've just heard from the record label that there has been a delay in the pressing of the new album so I'm afraid it will not be available at the Cheltenham show tonight. Hey there. Well we're about to head out on the road again for the 1st time in a couple of years and can't freakin wait! We are about to play our hometown of Cheltenham on friday for a pre-tour, album-launch party and the new album will be available at the show. Hi all! Welcome to the new 4ft Fingers website. We've missed you all. Sorry that we have taken our foot off the pedal over the last 2 years, but I am pleased to announce that we are back.
Well we've just come out of the studio after recording our 4th album 'New Beginnings of Old Stories' and it sounds wicked!! But I would say that. You are currently listening to the title track. Let us know what you think of the song on the new guestbook. The album is being released on 7th April through a great new independant label called Not On Your Radio.
A full UK and Ireland tour is kicking off on 29th February 2008 in Leeds. Please come and see us and if anyone would like to get involved in the promotion of the tour, send us your info on the '4ft Street Mob' page. Well there will me more news very soon. In the mean time, keep supporting your local alternative music scene and we're all looking forward to catching up with you all on the road very soon.
